Sometimes we can be so focused on being obedient to the "next thing" God has for us.
But what if, the beauty of the next thing is found in the willingness to wait in the "now"? What if, God is simply asking us to WAIT in obedience for the thing He has promised?
My dear friend @brittanycrabtree reminded me by way of @christinecaine that waiting is not complacency, but in fact -- active faith! It is trusting that God will deliver on the things He has promised while waiting in the middle of the ocean (or in my case, this stairwell 😜). So, my dear friends -- continue to wait on the thing our God has promised. Don't rely on your own strength or knowledge to make it happen. Don't counterfeit your covenant. Or ball drop your blessing. It's coming. HE is the ultimate GiftGiver and nothing you can come up with on your own will ever compare. Keep trusting. Keep Wanting. Keep Waiting. And continue to seek after God with everything you have. For the God we serve is surely faithful! 🙌🏾 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
